Correlation analysis of LAP,ADPN,IGF-1 levels with diabetes mellitus
Objective To investigate the correlation between lipid accumulation index(LAP),adiponectin(ADPN),insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1)and diabetes mellitus. Methods The 80 patients with diabetes mellitus admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to June 2023 were compared with 100 patients in the control group.LAP was calculated and serum ADPN and IGF-1 levels were detected.Comparing LAP,ADPN and IGF-1 levels between the two groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between LAP,ADPN,IGF-1 and blood glucose level.Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the risk factors of diabetes mellitus. Results The LAP level of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the ADPN and IGF-1 levels of the observation group were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that LAP was positively correlated with fasting blood glucose(FBG)and postprandial blood glucose(PBG)(r=0.540,0.477,P<0.05).ADPN and IGF-1 levels were negatively correlated with FBG and PBG(r=-0.432,-0.307,-0.333,-0.348,P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age≥60 years,FBG,PBG,family history of diabetes, body mass index≥28 kg/m2 and LAP were risk factors for diabetes, while high density lipoprotein,ADPN and IGF-1 were protective factors(P<0.05).Conclusion LAP,ADPN,IGF-1 and diabetes have certain relationship, diabetes is also affected by many factors, clinical can take some preventive measures to reduce the risk of diabetes.
