Diagnostic value of Presepsin combined with peripheral blood routine test on liver cirrhosis with spontaneous bacterial peritonitis
Objective To explore the diagnostic value of serum soluble CD14 subtype(Presepsin)combined with peripheral blood routine test on liver cirrhosis with spontaneous bacterial peritonitis(SBP).Methods The clinical data of 108 patients with liver cirrhosis admitted from February 2023 to February 2024 were retrospectively collected.According to the detection and diagnostic standards, they were divided into SBP group(n=46)and non-SBP group(n=62).The general data, serum Presepsin level, and peripheral blood routine indicators(WBC,NE,LYM)of the two groups of patients were compared. The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the diagnostic efficiency of Presepsin combined with peripheral blood routine test on liver cirrhosis with SBP.Results The level of Presepsin in the SBP group was higher than that in the non-SBP group, while the peripheral blood routine indicators of WBC,NE,and LYM were also higher than those in the non-SBP group(t=7.188,5.947,4.978,4.816,P<0.05).Serum Presepsin,WBC,NE,and LYM were positively correlated with SBP(r=0.584,0.527,0.453,0.474,P<0.05).The ROC results showed that the areas under the curve(AUCs)of serum Presepsin,WBC,NE,and LYM alone for detecting SBP were 0.898,0.823,0.804,and 0.729,respectively,and the AUC of serum Presepsin combined with peripheral blood WBC,NE,and LYM monitoring was 0.978,which was higher than each individual test(P<0.005).Conclusion The expression level of Presepsin is abnormally increased in patients with liver cirrhosis complicated with SBP.Presepsin combined with peripheral blood routine test has high diagnostic value on liver cirrhosis with SBP.
