A study of risk factors for solitary pulmonary nodule based on propensity-matched analysis
Objective Propensity-matched-based analysis of risk factors for solitary pulmonary nodules. Methods Retrospective study of 156 patients with lung nodules admitted to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Hospital from January 2021 to August 2023,divided into 58 cases of benign group and 98 cases of malignant group according to whether they were malignant or not.Clinical and imaging data of all the patients were collected.Logistic regression was used to analyze the risk factors of isolated lung nodules. Results A total of 100 patients were included, and the difference of each clinical characteristic between the two groups was not significant(P>0.05);matched multifactorial logistic regression analysis revealed, among others, that age,ground-glass density, pleural depression sign, lobulation sign,CEA level and nodule diameter were independent risk factors for malignant lesions. Conclusion Age,serum CEA level, ground glass density, lobar sign and nodule diameter are the risk factors for malignant pulmonary nodules.
