Clinical observation of Maiqili decoction combined with acupoint application on senile pulmonary heart disease
Objective To observe the curative effect of Maiqili decoction combined with acupoint application on senile pulmonary heart disease.Methods A total of 60 inpatients who met the criteria in the hospital from May 2021 to October 2022 were selected and divided into 2 groups by different treatment methods:observation group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases).The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the observation group was added with Maiqili decoction combined with acupoint application therapy on the basis of treatment in the control group.TCM syndromes scores,cardiac function grading,coagulation function,immune function,intestinal flora,hospital stay and recurrence rate within 6 months were compared between the two groups.Results At 14 days after treatment,TCM syndromes scores in 2 groups were significantly decreased,and the scores were lower in the observation group(P<0.05).The cardiac function level was better in the observation group(P<0.05).After treatment,the immune function indicators were increased in both groups,and the observation group had better indicators(P<0.05).The hospital stay in the observation group was shorter,and the 6-month recurrence rate was lower(P<0.05).Conclusion Maiqili decoction combined with acupoint application for senile pulmonary heart disease can significantly reduce the recurrence rate of pulmonary heart disease,improve clinical symptoms,quickly improve cardiac function grading,reduce hospital stay,improve constitution,enhance immune function,and reduce antibiotic resistance and intestinal flora disorder.
