Drugs Included in the National Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue(2022 Edition)
Objective To compare the Western and traditional Chinese medicines included in the National Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue(2022 Edition)and the Catalogue(2000-2021 Edition),and to analyze the difference in order to provide reference for future revisions.Methods Descriptive analysis was used to compare the amounts and composition of Western medicines,traditional Chinese medicines and some negotiating medicines during the term of the agreement,and identify the difference in pediatric drugs included in the National Medical Insurance Drug Catalogue(2022 Edition)and in the Catalogue(2000-2021 Edition).Results A total of 2 967 drugs were included in the National Medical Insurance Drug Cata-logue(2022 Edition),53.5%of which were Western medicines,and the rest were Chinese patent medi-cines.Compared with the Catalogue(2000-2021 Edition),20 types of new Western medicines,22 types of pediatric medicines and 108 types of negotiating medicines were added to the Catalogue(2022 Edition),while 1 type of Western medicine and one type of Chinese patent medicine were removed.At the same time,the restrictions on Western medicines and Chinese medicines changed.Conclusion The revision of the medical insurance drug catalogue has accelerated,and more than 600 drugs have been added to or removed from the catalogue on average every year,which can help bring more options for patients,opti-mize the use of drugs,and provide more standard,effective and economical tips for medication.
