Determintion of Calcium Disodium Edetate in Ioversol Injection by HPLC
Objective To establish a method for the determination of calcium disodium edetate in ioversol injection.Methods The content of calcium disodium edetate in ioversol injection was determined by HPLC.The phenomenex Gemini® NX-C18 110Å column(4.6 mm×25 cm,5 μm)was used with isocratic elution.The mobile phase was 0.4%tetrabutylammonium hydroxide solution(pH adjusted with phos-phoric acid to 6.50)-acetonitrile(3∶1).The detection wavelength was 260 nm.The flow rate was 1 ml·min-1.The column temperature was 40℃and the amount of injection was 20 μl.Results There was a good linear relationship between the concentration range of 0.32-23.63 μg·ml-1(r=1.0000)and peak area of calcium disodium edetate.The average recovery was 99.12%,with an RSD of 0.34%(n=6).Conclusion This method is simple,user-friendly,accurate and repeatable,which can be used for content determination of calcium disodium edetate in ioversol injection.
