The Measurement and Spatial-Temporal Characteristics of Digital Economy Index of City Groups——Analysis based on the data of Guanzhong plain city group
City groups are important spatial carriers carrying development factors,and digital economy is a key element to enhance their economic vitality and international influence.This paper establishes a digital economy index system based on the digital economy division standard in the Digital Economy and its Core Industry Statistical Classification(2021),published by the National Bureau of Statistics,combines with the practice of digital economy development in China's city groups,uses the en-tropy method to measure the digital economy development level of the Guanzhong Plain City Group and its 11 internal cities in the period of 2013-2022.It also analyzes the spatial-temporal characteristics of the cities within the cluster through visual-ization.The study finds that the digital economy of the Guanzhong Plain City Group as a whole shows fluctuating growth,there are shortcomings in the sub-indicators of the digital economy,there is obvious differentiation in the development among the cities within the group,and there are different factors influencing the speed of the development of the digital economy in each city.Accordingly,countermeasures are proposed:to give full play to the location advantages of each place to promote the coordinated development of the digital economy in the city groups;to make efficient use of the policy dividend,and to take a two-pronged approach to digital infrastructure construction and safeguards;and to combine the integrated development and differentiation strategies to carry out the construction of the digital economy of the city groups in accordance with the local conditions.
