Promote High-Quality Development of New Energy Power Generation:Achievements,Challenges,and Policy Recommendations
The high-quality development of new energy power generation is crucial for achieving"carbon peaking"and"carbon neutrality"goals.It ensures the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature and is essential for driving high-quality economic growth.Such development helps optimize the energy structure and ensure energy security.Currently,China's new energy power generation faces significant challenges,notably two contradictory phenomena:the installed capacity of new ener-gy power generation repeatedly reaches new highs,yet the proportion of electricity generated does not correspondingly in-crease,and electricity supply shortages coexist with the simultaneous curtailment of solar and wind power.The root causes in-clude mismatched distribution of electricity demand and power supply,mismatched fluctuations between power generation and consumption,and mismatched development speeds and supporting infrastructure construction.To address these issues,efforts should focus on building a power grid system compatible with the distribution characteristics of demand and supply,creating a flexible and complementary integrated energy system,and expanding and improving the new energy power trading market.These measures aim to enhance the balance,stability,and economic efficiency of new energy power generation,thereby pro-moting its high-quality development.
