Study on the Driving Factors of Entrepreneurship among Farmers in the Context of Industrial Revitalization——With an analysis of the assistance role of rural collective economies
Rural entrepreneurship is the micro starting point and important content to revitalize the rural industry.Based on the micro data from the China Land Economic Survey(CLES),this article empirically analyzes the influencing factors and mechanisms of rural entrepreneurship. The research found that the rural collective economy effectively drives rural en-trepreneurship,and such conclusion still holds true after endogeneity processing and robustness testing, with the entrepreneurial driving effect being significant only in non-agricultural fields.Mechanism analysis shows that the rural collective economy can positively impact rural entrepreneurship through two pathways:improving the economic endowment of rural households and enhancing social capital.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the impact of the rural collective economy on rural entrepreneurship varies among households with different levels of education and family income. In households with lower levels of education and family income, the rural collective economy has a more significant driving force on rural entrepreneurship. Therefore,it is rec-ommended that in the process of continuously developing the rural collective economy, the focus should be on strengthening the economic endowment and social capital of rural households, addressing the shortcomings of rural agricultural entrepreneur-ship,optimizing the entrepreneurial environment for rural households, and unleashing their entrepreneurial potential.
