Equilibrium and Accessibility:Equalization of Basic Public Services in Urban Agglomeration——Based on the comparative analysis of Yangtze River delta urban agglomeration and Chengdu-Chongqing twin cities economic circle
Promoting the equalization of basic public services and enhancing their equilibrium and accessibility are im-portant goals of promoting the coordinated development of urban agglomerations.Based on the data of 43 cities in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle from 2010 to 2020,the Thiel index and Tsui index are adopted to study the equal development level of basic public services in the Yangtze River Delta urban ag-glomeration and Chengdu-Chongqing twin city economic circle.The results show that:(1)From the perspective of basic public service supply level,the basic public service supply level of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is higher than that of Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle.(2)From the perspective of population accessibility of basic public service supply,the equalization level of basic public service supply in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is higher than that in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle.(3)From the perspective of the balanced allocation of basic public service resources,the equalization degree of basic public service resources allocation in Chengdu-Chongqing Twin Cities Economic Circle is higher than that in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.Based on these findings,the e-qualization of basic public services in urban agglomerations should explore the public service integration synergy mechanism of on-demand flow and convenient sharing within the group from the dimensions of equilibrium and accessibility.
