Digitization has a significant impact on the production and operation of enterprises.This article explores the empowering effect of digital technology applications on the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises.Research has shown that the application of digital technology can significantly enhance the operational resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises during crisis periods;The application of digital technology has a stronger empowering effect on the operational re-silience of manufacturing and business service enterprises than other industries;Compared to others,the application of digital technology has a greater impact on enhancing the operational resilience of medium-sized small and medium-sized enterprises;The empowering effect of technology-based digital technology applications on the resilience of small and medium-sized en-terprises is stronger than that of platform based and process based applications.To better leverage the empowering role of digi-talization in the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises,it is necessary to improve the digital service system for small and medium-sized enterprises,strengthen differentiated incentive policies,and guide enterprises to formulate long-term digital strategic plans.
