Research on the Relationship between Entrepreneurial Activity and Inclusive Economic Growth——Evidence from China's pilot free trade zone
As the"experimental field"of institutional reform,the strategic significance of the construction of free trade zones for urban development"enabling cohesion"and"increasing speed"is more prominent.Based on the perspective of en-trepreneurial activity,the panel data of 287 cities in China from 2009 to 2022 are taken as the research object.Based on the perspective of entrepreneurial activity,the multi-period DID method(Time-varying DID)is selected to test the impact and mechanism of free trade zone construction on regional economic inclusive growth.The research shows that the construction of free trade zone can significantly promote the inclusive growth of regional economy,with an average effect of 25.18%.This conclusion is still valid after considering endogenous problems and robustness tests,and this policy effect is more obvious in cities with resource endowment advantages.The mechanism test shows that entrepreneurial activity is an effective way for the construction of free trade zones to improve the inclusive growth level of regional economy.The research conclusions provide empirical evidence for activating the entrepreneurial effect of free trade zone construction and exploring the realization path of regional economic inclusive growth.
