人口老龄化、消费升级与旅游业高质量发展

人口老龄化改变居民消费结构,也在一定程度上影响着旅游业高质量发展.本文采用 2011-2022 年省域面板数据,实证分析人口老龄化对旅游业高质量发展的影响效应及作用机制.研究发现:人口老龄化对旅游业高质量发展具有显著的促进作用,且经过稳健性检验后结论依然成立;从地区异质性来看,人口老龄化对东部地区旅游业高质量发展作用更为明显;从作用机制分析来看,人口老龄化通过提升消费升级来促进旅游业高质量发展;进一步通过空间效应分析来看,人口老龄化不仅有利于本地区旅游业高质量发展,还能够带动邻接地区旅游业高质量发展水平的提升.为此,应优化旅游产品和服务,满足老年人群体的特殊需求;加强区域合作,实现旅游资源的共享和优势互补;推动消费升级与旅游业高质量发展的深度融合.
Population Aging,Consumption Upgrading and Tourism High-Quality Development
Theaing of the population has changed the consumption structure of residents,and also affected the high-qual-ity development of tourism to a certain extent.Based on the provincial panel data from 2011 to 2022,this paper empirically analyzes the impact and mechanism of population aging on the high-quality development of tourism.The results show that population aging has a significant role in promoting the high-quality development of tourism,and the conclusion is still valid after the robustness test.From the perspective of regional heterogeneity,population aging plays a more obvious role in the high-quality development of tourism in the eastern region.From the perspective of mechanism analysis,population aging pro-motes the high-quality development of tourism by improving consumption upgrading;Further through the analysis of spatial effect,the population aging is not only conducive to the high-quality development of tourism in spot region,but also can pro-mote the improvement of the high-quality development level of tourism in adjacent areas.To this end,tourism products and services should be optimized to meet the special needs of the elderly;Strengthen regional cooperation to achieve the sharing of tourism resources and complement each other's advantages;Promote the deep integration of consumption upgrading and high-quality development of tourism.
