In the first half of 2024,China's economy continued to recover and improve,with steady expansion of the total economic output,continuous optimization of the economic structure,and stable price levels,showing the characteristics of"quantity increase,quality improvement,and price stability".It should be noted that China's economic operation has also en-countered some problems in development and transformation.The economic operation has become differentiated,domestic ef-fective demand is insufficient,risks and hidden dangers in the real estate market still exist,local fiscal revenue and expenditure contradictions are prominent,monetary policy transmission is not smooth,and the adverse effects of external environmental changes have increased.To steadfastly complete the annual economic and social development goals and tasks,we should take reform as the driving force,increase macroeconomic regulation,implement a proactive fiscal policy,maintain the stability of monetary policy,comprehensively promote consumption,deeply tap into the potential of domestic demand,focus on building a new model of real estate development,continue to expand high-level opening up to the outside world,reverse market expec-tations,boost social confidence,and enhance the sustained upward trend of the economy.
