Discussion on the Tourism Development Path with Chinese Characteristics
In order to implement earnestly the important indicatives on tourism development of General Secretary Xi Jinping,we need to understand comprehensively the forming background and typical characteristics of tourism development path with Chinese characteristics,and to plan its future systematically.Based on review on the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics,this paper concludes the characteristics of tourism development path with Chinese characteristics as fol-lowing ten points,i.e.,adjusting the positioning of tourism according to the stage of development,integrating tourism develop-ment into the overall national strategies,implementing the strategy of appropriately advanced development,adhering to the concept of people-centered development,guiding with appropriate industrial policies by government,combining gradual re-forms with managed opening up,guiding by the concept of ecological civilization,integrating developments of culture and tourism deeply,attaching importance to complementary and coordinated development among regions,realizing the two-way circulation of international and domestic tourism.On the new era and new journey,we need adhere to the leadership of the Party,meet the people's needs for a better life,persist in the reform and opening up,comprehensively implement the new vi-sion for development,coordinate the five relationships,promote ecological progress and achieve high-quality development,to continue firmly the tourism development path with Chinese characteristics.
