Research on the Spatio-Temporal Characteristics and Dynamic Evolution of China's Circulation Industry Carbon Emission Efficiency
As a leading industry in the national economy,the low-carbon development of China's circulation industry is of great significance for achieving the"dual carbon"goal.Promoting low-carbon circulation requires objective evaluation of China's circulation industry carbon emission efficiency.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2022,this article uses the Super-SBM model,combining Dagum gini coefficient,Kernel density estimation and Markov probability stochastic matrix,to explore the development level,spatio-temporal characteristics and dynamic evolution of China's circula-tion industry carbon emission efficiency.The research found:(1)The China''s circulation industry carbon emission efficiency has improved,but there is significant regional difference.(2)Although the overall regional relative difference in China's circu-lation industry carbon emission efficiency fluctuates,it shows a downward trend as a whole,and the regional difference is the main source.(3)The absolute difference in China's circulation industry carbon emission efficiency shows a downward trend as a whole.(4)There is a"club convergence"in the type of China's circulation industry carbon emission efficiency.The type of circulation industry carbon emission efficiency in neighboring provinces has a significant impact on the low-carbon develop-ment of local circulation industry.Based on this,it is necessary to strengthen the joint efforts of government and enterprises to promote the low-carbon coordinated development of inter regional circulation industry,formulate policies tailored to local conditions to stimulate the low-carbon potential of circulation in various regions,and leverage spatial spillover effects to pro-mote the improvement of China's circulation industry carbon emission efficiency.
