Qu Qiubai led and promoted the second discussion on the popularization of literature and art in the early 1930s.In the early 1930s,Qu Qiubai was"unemployed"in Shanghai and led the Left-wing cultural movement.After establishing effective communication with the Left-Wing Association and getting familiar with and grasping the general situation of Left-Wing literature,Qu Qiubai first conveyed his thoughts on the development of revolutionary literature through Mao Dun,during which he drafted documents such as"The Cultural Revolution of the Soviets"and"The New Tasks of Chinese Proletarian Revolutionary Literature",taking"Popularization"as the central issue of the Cultural movement.In March 1932,the Left-Wing Association completed its resorganzation,and made adequate preparation in terms of ideology and organization,Qu Qiubai published a series of articles such as"Practical Problems of Puluo Popular Literature and Art",expounded on the proletarian orientation of revolutionary literature and art,constructed a proletarian literary and artistic paradigm that integratesstance,-theme,and literary-tone",providinga new epistemological and methodological guidance for the flourishing proletarian literature and art.
