The focus of the legends of Ouyang Xiu's Shuang Gang Qian Biao Bei has undergone three stages of evolution such as recording anecdotes,praising articles and commending pieties.The moving plots has gradually formed,including sending stele by Ouyang Xiu,borrowing stele by Dragon King,denouncing Dragon King by Lu Zhi,towing stele by magical tortoise and marking out the text with red ink.The stories has showcased the characteristic of legendary feature,specific plot and ethical connotation.The material and spiritual core value of the legend was established through the ethical values of filial pieties in the steles and its inscriptions.The legends were mainly spread in Yongfeng County and Poyang Lake area in Jiangxi Province for Ouyang Xiu's concept of filial piety and the pursuit of ethical value of the public in Shuang Gang Qian Biao.The legends has its social values today,from kinship to benevolence This expansion process of filial piety was meaningful to the construction of harmonious families and even society today.
