At the end of the Song Dynasty and the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty,Gao Chufang gathered scholars to compile The Annotations and Comments of Du Fu's Poems,which witnessed reprinted edition for its great academic value.Through the detailed examination of the historical materials,we can see that his family migrated from Henan,and the family clan has seen generations called"Guixianli-Taixi-Jialing-Jushan".His father's friends,including Zhu Nanshan,Wen Tianxiang and Liu Chenweng,were all famous patriots and scholars.Gao Chufang,who made friends with Yan Gaomin,Liu Zizhao and Liu Jiangsun,immersed in the the spirit of Luling Culture,loved learning and poem composition when he was young.Born in an unrest time,he showed his noble virtue,his faithful righteousness.His Annotations has exerted far-reaching influence on the scholars of meritorious in Yuan and Ming literati.
