After the nationwide launch of anti-American Aggression and Aid Korea Movement,Henan Province,in a quick response,carried out campaigns such as peaceful signatures,current affairs propaganda,patriotic agreements and donations,preferential treatment,anti-bacterial warfare and patriotic hygiene campaigns.The movement highlighted the importance of Party leadership,emphasized the implementation speed,and exhibited limited vertical mobilization and imbalanced regional development characteristics.There were instances of improper methods and practices such as mandatory orders,embezzlement,and equal distribution.However,through timely inspections and corrections,the movement eventually achieved a favorable operation and continued development.It not only provided strong support to the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea but also exerted a profound impact on the society of PRC in its early days,leaving behind valuable spiritual wealth in the history of Henan Province as well as that of CPC.
