The comprehensive implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy proposed in the 19th CPC National Congress was induced not only by the external impact of weak consumption and exports caused by the 2008 international financial crisis, but by the internal demand for coordinated development of urban-rural integration in China. The proposal of the rural revitalization strategy was originated from the ideas of Marx and Engels on the resolution of urban-rural opposition. It is a lesson from the experience of the Soviet Union in promoting urban-rural development during the reigns of Lenin and Stalin.Meanwhile,it is also a summary of several generations of CPC exploration of modernization practice.
