Appropriate addition of prefixes and relationship building between characters becomes one of the main contents of dictionary revision.Japanese transcript of Zen books truly reflected the written appearance of the writing era,which can be regarded as the first-hand material for the study of modem Chinese characters.This paper tries to start with the addition of prefixes and relationship building between characters,and discusses the value of the common writing in Zen transcript to the revision of Hanyu Da Zidian.
