Research on the low-carbon transformation path of logis-tics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt em-powered by digital economy
Based on the empowerment effect of digital economy, this paper analyzes the new requirements faced by the development of logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, analyses the relationship between digital economy, logistics industry and carbon emissions, and proposes research hypotheses; It takes the logistics industry of 11 provinces along the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the empirical object, calculates its carbon emissions from 2000 to 2020,designs the evaluation index system of the development level of the logistics indus-try of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the evaluation index system of the development level of the digital economy, and uses the entropy weight method to determine the weights of each index; On this basis, this paper constructs a regulatory effect model between the development level of digital economy, the development level of logistics industry and carbon emissions, and empirically tests the relationship among the development of digital economy, the development of logistics industry and carbon emissions. The research results show that From 2000 to 2020,the logistics industry in 11 provinces along the Yangtze River Economic Belt is developing, but the overall carbon emissions also shows an upward trend, and there is a certain positive correlation between the two. However, the development of digital economy can weaken and inhibit this positive correlation, playing a signifi-cant regulatory role.According to the results of empirical analysis, this paper proposes relevant strategies from four dimensions:policy improvement, green communication, technology development, and transportation optimiza-tion to address the problems of logistics carbon emissions in the development of logistics industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
