Analysis of the effectiveness of enterprise digital transformation——A case study of trade frictions
With the help of progressive DID model, using enterprise micro data, taking anti-dumping as an ex-ample,this paper tests the above theoretical propositions by the method of"quasi-natural test".The results show that, firstly, under the background of trade frictions, the average export decline of Chinese enterprises involved in the trade friction reached 6%.However,for enterprises that have already undergone digital transformation, the impact of trade friction is not significant, reflecting that digital transformation can alleviate or even offset the negative impact of trade friction on enterprise exports to some extent.Secondly, compared with those without digital transformation, the exports of transformed enterprises have increased significantly. The digital transforma-tion of enterprises has significantly improved their operational efficiency, resulting in significant cost optimization effects. This not only improves the efficiency of export business, but also significantly reduces export costs. Finally, the digital transformation of enterprises mainly addresses the impact of trade frictions on response channels,prod-uct export and conversion channels, and cross-border transfer channels of involved product exports.
