The impact of the development of new quality productive forces on the technical complexity of manufacturing export
New quality productive forces provides important opportunities and impetus for enhancing the added value and competitiveness of China's manufacturing industry,among which the impact on the export technical complexity is of great significance to the development of China's manufacturing industry.Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2012 to 2021,this paper explores the impact of China's new quality productive forces on the technical complexity of manufacturing export through the mediation effect test.The results show that the development of new quality productive forces has a positive impact on the technical complexity of manufacturing exports.The higher the development level of new quality productive forces,the higher the tech-nical complexity level of manufacturing exports,and this positive effect is particularly significant in the eastern and central regions and high-income economic regions.Optimizing industrial structure and improving trade com-petitiveness have a intermediary effect on the technical complexity of manufacturing exports.China should make good use of the positive impact of the development of new quality productive forces on the technical complexity of manufacturing export,and continuously improve the technical complexity of manufacturing export by opti-mizing the industrial structure and enhancing the international trade competitiveness.
