Can trade facilitation promote digital transformation of enterprises——On the economic effect of the integration of domestic and foreign trade in the market
The global prevalence of the CO VID-19 has accelerated the evolution of the great changes unseen in a century,and the prospects of global economic and trade recovery are tortuous and complicated.Trade facilitation has become an important means to promote high-level opening up under the dual support of trade power and digital power.Based on the data of Chinese listed companies from 2008 to 2020,this paper empirically analyzes the impact of trade facilitation on the digital transformation of Chinese enterprises.The results show that trade fa-cilitation can significantly promote the digital transformation of enterprises,and has a more significant effect on enterprises with export behavior,non-technology-intensive enterprises and enterprises with non-overseas ex-ecutives.Further research shows that trade facilitation helps enterprises'digital transformation through cost effect,innovation effect and risk bearing effect,and then promotes the integration of local domestic and foreign trade,and has a more obvious role in promoting domestic trade to foreign trade.Trade facilitation provides break-throughs for enterprises to optimize the external conditions of digital transformation.Based on the research con-clusions,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote high-level institutional opening up,shape new advantages for enterprise digital transformation,optimize transformation support system to activate the driving force of enterprise digital transformation,seize the digital dividends brought by trade facilitation to inte-grate domestic and foreign trade in enterprises.
