Establishing Long-term Management and Protection Mechanism of Rural Living Environment in Rural Revitalization:Challenge and Intellectualizing Approach
It is more and more realistic and urgent for China to promote rural revitalization and accelerate the construction of a suitable and livable countryside.It poses new requirements for the future improvement effect,governance capacity,and sustainable management and protection of rural living environment in China.Digitization empowers the long-term management and governance system of rural living environment,and propels the modernization of governance capacity;it makes the implementation of long-term management and protection work convenient,facilitates the coordination and co-governance of multiple management and protection subjects,and creates a new pattern of long-term management and supervision.In the preliminary period of exploring the long-term management and protection mechanism of rural living environment,the obstacles and challenges include the inadequate basic conditions of rural living environment,lack of management and protection resources,low participation of farmers,difficulties in the linkage of management and protection subjects,and insufficient supervision of living environment.Accordingly,digital governance methods should be introduced into the remediation of rural living environment to promote the intelligent design of long-term management and protection mechanism of rural living environment;the function of digital technology in the long-term management and protection of living environment should be fully tapped so that digitization can empower the sustainable and long-term development of an ecologically livable and beautiful rural living environment,which can effectively contribute to rural revitalization.
