Distribution Characteristics and Risk Assessment of Heavy Metals in Suspended Porticulate Matter from the Maowei Sea
The contents of As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Ni,Pb,and Zn in the suspended particulate matter in the Maowei Sea were measured, their distribution characteristics were studied, and the risk of the suspended particulate matter in the Maowei Sea was evaluated by the combination of potential ecological risk index method and ground accumulation index method. The results showed that the content of heavy metals decreased from northwest to southeast;the potential ecological risk level of heavy metals was a strong ecological risk, and Cd was a serious ecological risk;in the land accumulation index,Cd and Cu were heavy polluted,As were mainly moderately polluted, and Zn and Ni were mainly slightly polluted.Heavy metal pollution is greatly affected by human beings.Cd pollution in suspended particulate matter is serious, and other heavy metals are polluted to varying degrees.
