The Zhengjiahu Cemetery is located on the southeastern outskirts of the Chuwangcheng site in Chengguan Town of Yunmeng County,Hubei Province.It is an important cemetery consisting of small to medium-sized tombs from the Warring States to the Qin and Han periods.Tomb M257 in Area C is the highest-ranked tomb at the cemetery,dating back to the Qin dynasty,with the tomb occupant of Qin descent.M257 is rich in grave goods,with over 120 sets(or pieces)of bronze,pottery,lacquer,wood,bamboo,and jade artifacts,implying the integration of Qin and Chu cultures.This provides im-portant research material for exploring the formation of a unified multi-ethnic state during the Qin dy-nasty.
