The Yaotaizi cemetery is located in Yingnan Village of Yingcheng Town in Jingzhou City.It is approximately one kilometer north of the Qin and Han Yingcheng Ruins and about 1.8 kilo-meters southwest of the Ancient City of Jingzhou. In 2017,the Jingzhou Museum excavated 14 tombs at this site, which span from the Warring States period to the Ming and Qing dynasties.Among them, the artifacts dating to the Western Han,Eastern Jin,and Southern Song are especially abundant, providing new archaeological data for studying the cultural shifts of different periods in the Jingzhou region.Of particular note is the rare cracked petal-patterned bronze yi unearthed from Tomb M10 at Yaotaizi, which holds significant research value.
