The cemetery group of the Qingling Urban Industrial Park is located in Shizui Village,Qingling Street,Hongshan District,Wuhan City,Hubei Province.In October 2023,with approval from the National Cultural Heritage Administration,rescue excavations were carried out by the Wuhan Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology to support the basic construction.The excavations revealed six brick-chamber tombs and four earthen pit tombs,yielding over 30 artifacts,including pottery,porcelain,and jade items.The brick-chamber tombs date to the Six Dynasties period,while the earthen pit tombs date to the Sui and Song dynasties.This excavation provides important materials for studying the development of tomb structures and burial customs in the Wuhan region from the Six Dynasties to the Song Dynasty.
