The bronze ge-daggers inscribed with"Huang Zhong Zhi Yong"and"Dong Hou Zhi Zao",which were excavated from Tomb M8 at the Gongxi cemetery in Xianyang of Shaanxi Province,provide new materials for studying the culture of the Huang State and the feudal lords of Chu State during the Warring States period.The dagger inscribed with"Huang Zhong Zhi Yong"dates from the late Spring and Autumn period to the early Warring States period and is associated with a branch of the feudal clan of Huang State.The dagger inscribed with"Dong Hou Zhi Zao"dates to the mid-Warring States period and was made by the Chu feudal lord known as"Dong Hou"or"Dongzhai Gong."
