During the transition of political power and legal system between the Qin and Han dynasties,the writing of documents still retained records of"Xiang Wei Qin"and"Xiang Wei Han".The paper interprets the character in slip 9-3305 of the Liye Qin Bamboo Slips as 县(county).Combined with records"Jingzhou surrendered to Qin"in the Yuelu Bamboo Slips and"surrendered as a county"in the Liye Qin Bamboo Slips,the author believes that the term"Xiang Wei Xian"in slip 9-3305 more likely refers to"surrendered to be a prefecture or a county".Moreover,The character Xin新 in slip 2 of Li Pu in the Zhangjiashan Han Bamboo Slips should be interpreted as Yan 鄢.
