Archaeological surveys,explorations,and excavations conducted between 2016 and 2023 have revealed that the Sujialong Site is a large capital-level city of the Zeng state,including high-grade cemeteries,residential areas,and large-scale mining and metallurgical remains.The discovery of the tomb of Zeng Boqi and the mining and metallurgical relics indicates the important position of the Sujia-long Site on the"Copper and Tin Transportation Routes(Jin Dao Xi Hang)"during the Zhou Dynasty.
