Study on long-term rainfall variation and shallow groundwater level response in Huaibei city,Anhui Province
To reveal the response patterns of groundwater levels to factors such as rainfall, groundwater extraction, and land use changes, methods such as wavelet analysis,M-K trend test, and moving average were used to comparatively analyze the rainfall and automatic groundwater monitoring data in Huaibei city,Anhui Province from 1956 to 2020.The results showed that the annual rainfall in Huaibei had the characteristics of multi-temporal and spatial scales with obvious periodicity, especially in 36 a and 6 a.The total rainfall in Huaibei city had decreased since 1956,which was the main reason for the overall lowering of the groundwater level;.The change of groundwater level can be divided into four stages:from 1956 to 1970,the groundwater flow field was in a natural state, and the change of water level was mainly controlled by rainfall;from 1970 to 2000,the exploitation of groundwater was the main reason to control the groundwater level;from 2000 to 2010,rainfall caused the rise of water level, groundwater exploitation caused the drop of water level, and land use change caused the drop of water level in urban area, and all the influencing factors in the superposition or abatement together affected the change of groundwater level. From 2010 to 2020,the dynamic change of groundwater was determined by the change of rainfall and land use, with rainfall still playing a dominant role. The findings could provide reference for water resources management in Huaibei city.
