Carbon Inequality in Interprovincial Trade of the Yangtze River Economic Belt:A Factor Endow-ment Structure-Driven Perspective
Achieving the"dual-carbon"goal is a broad, profound economic and social systemic change. This paper investigates carbon emission in the Yangtze River Economic Belt and finds that:regional trade has triggered carbon inequality due to the differences in socio-economic development levels and factor endowment structure among different regions, which also affects the division of regional carbon emission reduction responsibilities.Regional synergy is a must for the Economic Belt to realize green and low-carbon development, and the specif-ic paths include promoting the energy revolution with green and low-carbon technological innovation,synergis-tically promoting the low-carbon transformation of the regional industrial structure, and establishing a regional differentiated system of carbon emission reduction responsibility.
