An Exploration of English Teaching Strategies in Higher Vocational Education by Integrating Project-Based Learning
The project-based learning approach provides a new ideological foundation and new path direction for vocational English teaching.In response to the current problems of insufficient theoretical input,insufficient teaching staff,insufficient knowledge system,and insufficient evaluation effectiveness in vocational English teaching,corresponding strategies should be adopted based on the characteristics and reform needs of vocational education.Teachers should actively explore the commonalities with project-based learning methods,implement teaching strategies led by the core concept of project-based learning,and integrate the concept of project-based learning into various aspects of English teaching,such as problem design,task and scenario setting,and teaching evaluation.This will make project-based learning theory continuously enriched based on vocational English teaching practice,gradually achieving the phased and long-term goals of theoretical promotion of teaching practice reform.
