Abstract
The image of"water"is not only the water of reality,but also presents various forms in Su Tong's novels.It is also an aesthetic object that helps SU Tong's novels form a beautiful and poetic aesthetic style,constructs a humid and dense literary southern region,and tells the legendary stories of decadence and sadness.At a deeper level,the image of"water"is also connected to the author's philosophical thinking,containing reflections on life,fate,and human nature,and expressing the survival difficulties of the contemporary people.
