摘要

《弗兰肯斯坦》中科学家与其创造物之间的对立关系引人注目,作者借助代表智识的弗兰肯斯坦与代表情感、想象力的"怪物",展现了19世纪前半期现实世界中理性与情感的冲突.从"启蒙现代性"与"审美现代性"入手,《弗兰肯斯坦》中阐述的悖论关系——缺爱科学家和更具人性的怪物的爱恨关系,展现了雪莱在无限自我与有限经验之间建立的一种浪漫主义反讽的辩证关系.

Abstract

The antagonistic relationship between Frankenstein and his creation in Frankenstein is striking,with Frankenstein represented by intellect and the monster represented by emotion and imagination,showing the conflict between reason and emotion in the real world in the first half of the 19th century.Expounding the paradoxical relationship in Frankenstein from Enlightenment modernity and Aesthetic modernity—the love-hate relationship between a scientist who lacks love and a more human monster,thus showing that Mary Shelley established a romantic ironic dialectical relationship between the infinite self and the limited experience.
