Analysis of the Art of Character Patterns in Embroiderd Loops in Qing Dynasty
The Qing Dynasty embroidered loops is a product of the integration and mutual learning of Manchu and Han ethnic costume culture.Its character patterns are unique and the embroidery is exquisite.Through the research and verifi-cation of Qing Dynasty embroidered loop objects in the collection of Suzhou University Museum,as well as the collection and analysis of relevant literature and materials,the themes of embroidered loops were divided into mythological legends,talented women and beauties,life of ladies and farmers,and the semantic,artistic characteristics,cultural interests,and emotional demands of the character patterns in embroidered loops were carefully interpreted.Research shows that the patterns of embroidered loops elegantly portray the attire,living scenes,and humanistic tastes of Qing Dynasty characters,express the self emotions of ancient women under the shackles of feudal traditional thinking.
