Influence of Heating Method of Electrically Heated Garment on Its Temperature Regulation Performance
In order to evaluate the regulatory ability of electrically heating garment on human skin temperature, the article selected two categories of electrically heating garment:vests and jackets.A thermal manikin experiment was used to assess the impacts of clothing category, heating area and heating position on the skin temperatures of various parts of the human body at an ambient temperature of-10~5℃.The results show that when the ambient temperature is relatively high, jackets have better low-temperature heating effects. When the ambient temperature is relatively low, vests have better high-temperature heating effects. The heating area has little impact on jackets, but significantly affects slim-fit vests. The larger the heating area, the higher the overall skin temperature on the upper body, but it may cause localized discomfort in the heating area of the vest. The thermal regulation performance of heating in the front chest position of the clothing is signifi-cantly better than heating in the front abdominal position. Therefore, the design of electrically heated clothing should comprehensively consider factors such as the wearing ambient temperature, clothing category, heating area, heating position and so on.The skin temperature of each part of the human body is also an important indicator that needs to be considered when designing electrically heating garment.
