Application effect analysis of two kinds of bone cement syringes in bilateral percutaneous vertebroplasty
Objective To analyze the application effect of two kinds of bonecement syringes in bilateral percutaneous vertebroplas-ty.Method The clinical data of 64 patients with osteoporotic vertebral body compression fracture treated by bilateral percutaneous ver-tebroplasty in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different bone cement syringes used during surgery, they were divided into a control group and a study group, with 32 cases in each group, the control group was treated with anterior opening bone ce-ment syringe, and the study group was treated with lateral opening bone cement syringe.Compare the surgical time, bone cement injec-tion volume, intraoperative blood loss, clinical indicators, bone cement distribution, and leakage between two groups of patients. Results The operation time of the study group was shorter than that of the control group, and the amount of bone cement injected was more than that of the control foot(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in intraoperative blood loss between the two groups(P>0.05).The bone cement leakage rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05);the bone ce-ment distribution grade of the patients in the study group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);the VAS score and ODI score of the patients in the two groups at 1 month after the operation were significantly decreased than those before the operation(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of lateral opening bone cement syringe in bilateral percutaneous vertebroplasty is beneficial to shorten the operation time, control the diffusion direction of bone cement, improve the distribution grade of bone cement, and reduce the leakage rate of bone cement.
