Effects of nasal feeding on growth and development of premature infants in different postures
Objective To investigate the effects of nasal feeding in different postures on the growth and development of premature infants.Method 195 premature infants from January 2020 to October 2021 at the People's Hospital of North Guangdong were selected as the study subjects,they were divided into left lateral position group,right lateral position group and prone position group according to different postures,each group had 65 cases,Implement left and right lying positions and prone positions for three groups of premature in-fants,and record in detail the growth and development of the three groups of premature infants.Results The growth of head circumfer-ence,body height and body weight in prone position group was better than that in left and right prone position group(P<0.05);The Times of Abdominal distension,gastric milk residue,vomiting and decrease of blood oxygen(5.00%,5.00%,7.50%,5.00%)in prone position group were lower than those in left-lateral position group(22.50%,25.00,27.50%,25.00%)and right-lateral posi-tion group(20.00%,20.00,22.50%,22.50%)(P<0.05);The duration of phototherapy and jaundice in prone position group was shorter than that in left lateral position group and right lateral position group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nasal feeding in prone position can further promote the growth of body height and weight,shorten the duration of phototherapy and jaundice,and avoid abdominal dis-tension,residual milk in stomach,vomiting and hypoxemia.
