Study on the relationship between PHACTR1 gene polymorphism and coronary heart disease in Dongguan population
Objective To explore the relationship between the polymorphisms of PHACTR1 gene rs1223397,rs2026458,rs475543,rs693758,rs9349379 and rs9472419 and the susceptibility to coronary heart disease in Dongguan population.Method 50 patients with coronary heart disease from Dongguan area were selected as CHD group, and 50 normal patients matched with age and sex were selected as control group.PCR-RFLP technique was used to detect the gene and allele distribution of rs1223397,rs2026458,rs475543,rs693758,rs9349379 and rs9472419 in the two groups. Results The distribution of genotypes at different sites of PHACTR1 gene was rs1223397 locus:CC/GC/GG,rs2026458 locus:CC/CT/TT,rs475543 locus:AA/AG/GG,rs693758 locus:AA/AG/GG,rs9349379 locus:AA/GA/GG,rs9472419 locus:CC/CT/TT.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Comparing the baseline data,it was found that the age, smoking frequency,LDL and HbA1c in the CHD group were significantly high-er than those in the control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in gender and BMI between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The gene polymorphisms of PHACTR1 at rs1223397 site,rs2026458 site,rs475543 site,rs693758 site,rs9349379 site and rs9472419 site may not be related to CHD incidence in Dongguan population.
