Experimental study on the effect of Schisandra chinensis polysaccharides on skin elasticity in rabbits
Objective To observe the effect of Schisandra chinensis polysaccharide(SCP)on rabbit skin elasticity to provide theo-retical basis for the research and development of related skin care products.Method Schisandra crude polysaccharide was extracted by water alcohol ol.Six male New Zealand rabbits were selected. Each rabbit is shaved and divided into five areas. The five regions corre-spond to blank,matrix,3%,5%and 10%pentapolysaccharides.No treatment was performed in the blank area, the capom solution was applied in the matrix area, and the pentpolysaccharide area was partitioned at different concentrations, taking 7 days and administered continuously for 14 days. After days 7,14,12 h intervals and the rabbit smear area was tested with a skin elasticity analyzer.Detection of values of elastic value R2,R6,R7 in each region and data analysis on the effects of the drug of different concentrations on the above val-ues.Results The elastic detection results of each group showed a significant R2,R7 in the matrix intervention group compared to blank controls(P<0.01 or P<0.05)and a significant R6(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The R2,R7 values all decreased significantly in the matrix intervention group(P<0.01 or P<0.05)and the R6 value increased significantly(P<0.01 or P<0.05).Compared with the elastic values of the pentaflavor polysaccharide administration group,we found that 10%concentration compared with 3%and 5%concentration had significantly increased R2,R7 value(P<0.01 or P<0.05),significantly reduced R6 value(P<0.01 or P<0.05),showing the re-covery ability of high dose concentration of polysaccharide ointment to skin elasticity. Conclusion Schisandra polysaccharide ointment has a protective effect on the skin of rabbits. This study provides a theoretical basis for the development of skin care products.
