Clinical efficacy of internal heat acupuncture combined with NJF technique on frozen period of periarthritis of shoulder
Objective To observe the clinical effect of internal heat acupuncture combined with neuromuscular joint promotion(NJF)on frozen period of periarthritis of shoulder.Method 60 patients withfrozen period of periarthritis of shoulder from Rehabilita-tion Medicine Department,Pukou Branch Hospital of Jiangsu Province Hospital,were selected as research object and randomly divided into observation group and control group.30 cases in the observation group were treated with internal heat acupuncture combined with NJF,and 30 cases in the control group were treated with oral celecoxib capsule combined with joint loosening;The active range of mo-tion(ROM),VAS pain score and constant Murley shoulder function score of the two groups were evaluated before and 3 weeks after treatment.Results After 3 weeks of treatment,the Constant shoulder score,VAS pain score and range of motion of shoulder in 2 groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05),and the Constant score,shoulder ROM and VAS pain score of the observation group were significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in shoulder extension between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05);The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Internal heat acupuncture combined with neuromuscular joint promotion technology in the treatment of frozen period of periarthritis of shoulder can alleviate shoulder pain,improve shoulder function and activity ability to a greater extent,and improve the quality of life of patients.
