Clinical observation of alanyl-glutamine nutritional support combined with methylprednisolone in the treat-ment of children with abdominal anaphylactoid purpura
Objective To observe the clinical effect of alanyl-glutamine nutritional support combined with methylprednisolone in the treatment of children with abdominal anaphylactoid purpura.Method Sixty children with abdominal anaphylactoid purpura admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to January 2024 were retrospectively selected and divided into control group and nutritional group.28 children in the control group were treated with methylprednisolone, and 32 children in the nutritional group were treated with alanyl-glutamine nutritional support on the basis of the control group. The clinical effects of hospital stay, repeated symptoms, weight loss, abdominal pain relief time, changes in immune function before and after treatment, infection, elevated blood pressure,insomnia,gas-trointestinal bleeding and other adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with the control group, the hospital stay in nutrition group was shorter, the proportion of recurrent symptoms and weight loss was lower(P<0.05).The proportion of abdominal pain relief time≤1 day was higher in nutrition group, and the proportion of abdominal pain relief time>1 day was lower(P<0.05).The levels of Immunoglobulin A(IgA),Immunoglobulin G(IgG)and Immunoglobulin M(IgM)in the nutritional group were lower after treatment(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in nutrition group(P<0.05).Conclusion Alanyl-glutamine nutritional support combined with methylprednisolone in the treatment of children with abdominal anaphylactoid purpura can shorten the hospital stay of children, reduce the recurrence of symptoms and weight loss, alleviate early abdominal pain in children,re-duce the incidence of adverse reactions, and be safer for children.
