Effects of social support system-based care on quality of life and self-care ability in rheumatoid arthritis
Objective To analyze the effects of nursing intervention based on social support system on quality of life and self-care ability of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.Method A total of 108 patients with rheumatoid arthritis admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from March 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects,and these 108 patients were randomly divided into two groups,namely control group and study group,with 54 cases in each group.Among them,the control group received routine nursing,on this basis,the study group added social support system based nursing.The quality of life and self-care a-bility before and after nursing were compared between the two groups.Results Before nursing,there was no significant difference in scores between the two groups(P>0.05).Based on social support system care,the scores of SF-36 scale and self-care ability(ES-CA),which represent quality of life and self-care ability,were higher in both groups than before care,and the scores of eight dimen-sions of SF-36 scale in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The four dimensions of ESCA score and total score were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of social support system nursing on the basis of routine nursing can improve patients'quality of life and enhance patients'self-care ability.
