Objective To investigate the changes of apoptosis factor Caspase-9 in the lungs of adenovirus-infected mice treated with New Fuzheng Chuyi Granules,and to explore the related mechanism.Method A total of 120 BALB/c mice were divided into groups,including low,medium and high dose groups,adenovirus model group and western medicine group.The animals were treated for 7 days,and after the last 1 day,their lungs were taken and the expression level of aspartate proteolytic enzyme-9(Caspase-9),that is,apoptosis in the lungs,was determined by flow cytometry.Results The results showed that the content of Caspase-9 in the lung tissues of the treated animals in each treatment group increased significantly compared with the model group after treatment with the New Fuzheng Chuyi Granules.There was a significant difference in Caspase-9 content between the ribavirin group and the high-dose group(P<0.05).Conclusion The New Fuzheng Chuyi Granules promotes the release of Caspase-9,and the release effect of Caspase-9 is obvious in the high-dose group and the Western medicine group.
