Influence of Gordon mode case management on anticoagulant medication compliance and self-efficacy of elderly patients with valvular heart disease after surgery
Objective To analyze the impact of Gordon model case management on the adherence and self-efficacy of anticoagulant medication in elderly patients after heart valve disease surgery.Method 200 elderly patients with postoperative heart valve disease who underwent treatment in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected and divided into a control group and an observa-tion group, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received Gordon mode case management on the basis of the control group. The compliance,self-efficacy,quality of life, and resistance to anticoagulant medi-cation in two groups of patients were observed. Results After intervention, the scores of anticoagulant medication adherence,self-effi-cacy,quality of life, and resistance in both groups of patients were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion-Gordon model case management intervention for elderly patients with postoperative heart valve disease can effectively improve their ad-herence to anticoagulant medication and self-efficacy.
